How it Feels to Be a Tourist Cow in Bolivia

The small country of Bolivia boasts 7 UNESCO World Heritage listed sites. We visited 4 and each one impressed us in different ways.
From distant peaks to deep valleys, the views in the Andes of Bolivia are breathtaking. Unfortunately, high altitude also takes my breath away.
Sucre, called “Bolivia’s most beautiful city” with its white painted colonial buildings, left us a little underwhelmed. It’s pretty enough but didn’t wow us.
We visited more World Heritage sites in Bolivia’s east: the 6 Jesuit Missions of the Chiquitos which we found absolutely enthralling and worth a detour.
